This presentation was given during an international workshop organized by CERDI in December, 2009.

Bart Jacobs shared experiences and lessons from Cambodia's national scale up of PBF in Session 2 of the workshop - From Pilot to National Policy: Scaling up PBF Schemes. The main objective of the session was to draw lessons from the few pioneer countries that are currently in the process of scaling up performance-based financing schemes nation-wide. Particular attention was given to: the initial plan, constraints on scale up, the actual process, challenges, and progress.

Bart Jacobs is from Luxembourg Development, Institute Tropical Medicine, Antwerp, Swansea University.
